The value for money at Goodwin Sands was excellent. The cottage was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the beach and easy access to pubs, restaurants, and shops.

The morning meal could have been better with a wider variety of options.

Plus, the communication from the host is excellent, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

While the cottage itself is perfect for families, the layout of the bathroom may not be suitable for groups of friends traveling together.

goodwin sands exceeded our expectations during this crab fest in deal. the cottage was cosy, clean, and well-equipped. the location was perfect with a short walk to the beach, pubs, and cafes. the owner, mark, was a fantastic host with great communication and even left us a delicious cake in the fridge. we would definitely stay here again if we visit the area.

Amazing Location - The hotel is situated just a stone's throw away from the stunning Deal Castle Beach, making it the perfect spot for beach lovers and water enthusiasts. I had the pleasure of waking up to the sound of gentle waves crashing, a sweet melody to start the day!

Bathroom Access - The only minor inconvenience was that the bathroom can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms.

Had a wonderful stay at this cosy cottage in Walmer. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to pubs, restaurants, and cafes.
